KJI Collective bases our work on a belief in the fundamental importance of kindness, justice and inclusion as the roots of positive organizational and community change. It is our belief that:
Kindness…
Is present when communities and community members interact with humility, generosity and openness. When people recognize they carry inherent bias but seek to look past those biases, kindness is present. When people humbly listen to those with lived experience and recognize them as experts, kindness is present. When people see the world around them as caring and hopeful, kindness is present.
Justice…
Is possible when communities and community members seek transformation of systems that oppress and separate people from others and from opportunity. Justice is more than equality or equity, it is restoration and transformation. When organizations and community leaders remove the barriers confining the marginalized and oppressed, justice is realized.
Inclusion…
Happens when communities and community members humbly recognize themselves as both custodians of their own experiences and beneficiaries of others’ experience. All of us become more compassionate and understanding by learning from the lived experiences of others while also examining the foundations of our own experiences. By honouring both the experience of self and other we create a more expansive community.
K·J·I· brings our perspective on kindness, justice and inclusion to our consulting engagements. We also bring our histories, our cultures, our education and our training to organizations seeking ways of making transformative change.
Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Anti-Racism consulting is growing. Very experienced firms are adding services to their portfolios and newly emerging firms are entering field. The challenge for any organization seeking professional advice is finding a consultant that they can trust to have the best combination of professional advisors, up to date research and best practices, along with a passion for the work.
Our team combines years of professional consulting and organizational leadership experience with rigorous practice and lived experience as advocates and activists.

We believe what you believe: that our world is better when we include all voices in our work. And we believe in you: we believe that if you want to transform your organization, you will succeed with our help and support.
